Lazy Sunday morning

Hey guys! How has your weekend been? Mine was honestly a very good one. Yesterday I organized a wine tasting for my bridesmaids and Eero's bestmen. We had loads of fun and the evening was an absolute succes.

Today happened something, that I had been waiting for for a while now: I didn't need an alarm clock and slept as long as I wanted to. The fact is, that I'd really very much like to be a morning person and I think I get more things done in the morning than later on in the day. But unfortunately I also love sleeping late :D That's a bit of a conflict.

A lazy morning morning was followed by a laid back day altogether. I went to buy new shoes, which I had wanted for ages. And then myself and Eero visited Eero's family and stayed there for hours. We had tea and also chatted loads about the upcoming wedding (omg it's only two months away!!!).

I hope you all had a lovely day aswell. Good night, sleep tight!

Physical education

I thought I told you my busy weeks for this spring were over? Well, that clearly wasn't true. This week was just as hectic as the last one. I've been working on one project for my physical education studies and mainly it has been fun, but still hard work!

Today I'm first having lunch with a friend of mine and later we're meeting up with my maids of honor and my fiancees best men because we need to do some serious crafting :D

Hope you have a lovely weekend!

OOTD: bodypump

I used to love bodypump. It was my facourite class at the gym. But at some point I felt like I had had too much of it. The choreographs felt boring and I also got bored of the huge amount of repeats done with the same movement.

So after a years pause, I today decided to try the class again. It's probably been a year since I last went to a bodypump class. And it felt so good to be back! I need to go more often again. Maybe not as often as I used to go, but perhaps once a week or something like that.

After the bodypump class, I went to a wedding blogger meet up. It was so cool to meet everybody and talk of all things related to weddings. I'll give you sneek peak of the meet up here, but more pics will be up soon on my wedding blog, Well Tied Knot.

One more day left of the weekend, hope you enjoy it!

Long time no see

I'm having such a busy week! Everyday I have something to do from 8 or 9 am to 8 or 9 pm. And it feels a bit crazy. Studywise, this is the last proper week of full time studying this spring. So mainly, although I've had a lot to do, my energy levels have been high!

I think the lenght of days has a big effect on me. I'm so much happier, so much more outgoing and energetic in the springtime than in the winter. Like, if this week was in the wintertime and days were a lot shorter and darker, I'd probably just want to curl up under my duvet in the evenings. But now I actually feel like doing a bit more. Like going to the gym. Or blogging <3 Aa I love springtime!

Who else loves spring?

Would you rather -tag

It's tag time! Thought I'd do a cool one, where I have to choose between two things. Here we go!

Would you rather walk around all day with you skirt tucked in your underwear or be seen wearing a really see through dress?
I'd rather be seen wearing a really see through dress. That way I would probably have chosen some appropriate underwear to wear :D. That is if I'd be wearing the dress on purpose.

Would you rather go to a party and not realize until the end of the night that you have lipstick on your teeth or that your fake lashes are coming unglued?

I think I'd have lipstick on my teeth. Maybe. I mean that sort of a situation is pretty easily mended. Whereas glueing your lashes back on wouldn't be as easy.

Would you rather forget to put mascara on one eye or forget blush on one side of your face?

Blush. Never forget mascara :D

Would you rather wear lipstick/lipliner combo or frosty blue eyeshadow?

I'd wear both :D what was the point of this question?

Would you rather wear foundation that is two shades too light or go way overboard on bronzer?

Too light foundation. It can be fixed with a bronzer!

Would you rather drink an entire bottle of ketchup or run into the guy who broke your heart on a bad hair day when your skin is freaking out?

I like ketchup but not that much.

Would you rather be able to date any celeb you wanted or wake up with perfect red carpet-worthy hair?

Perfect hair, yes please!

Would you rather your armpits smell musky or like delicious lasagna?

Hey this is discusting :D maybe musky. But both would definitely make me shower for an hour.

Would you rather give up your makeup or cell phone for one year?

Makeup. I couldn't live without my phone with my family and many friends living pretty far away from me.

Would you rather run into a cute guy you like with food all in your grill or no makeup at all?

I'm afraid my hubby-to-be has seen it all already :D but if this happened before we started dating I'd say with no makeup.

I hope your weekend was awesome!

Running

Today the sun was shining and it was the warmest day of spring. I just had to go out for a little run.

Me and running actually don't have a very good relationship. I get very easily bored of repeating the same movement over and over again. I would rather dance. But sometimes it's just basically more simple to just put your headphones on, step outside your front door and start running. Also on a day like this, I definitely felt more like exercising outside than inside.

Today I ran for 5.45 kilometers and I'm quite happy with myself. Usually if I run more than that, I have to have something big on my mind.

Do you like running?

P.S. Oh my gosh, are those my dark under-eye circles? :D

Pictures

Yesterday was such a busy day, that I had no time to write. First I was studying from 8 am to 4 pm, then I quickly went to organize my fleemarket clothes and finally I coached gymnastics until 7.30 pm. When I got back home my only mission was to relax in the corner of our sofa!

From the corner of our sofa, I managed to practice a bit of photographing. I borrowed a Canon 400D from my parents just for the time being, because I am planning on getting my own one after the wedding. So hopefully, in the future, I'll have proper pictures on this blog too and not just  photos taken with my phone :D Although in their own way, phonepictures can be quite cool. But ofcourse the quality is completely different.

Going to uni...
I'm really excited about the camera at the moment and hopefully I'll learn how to use it properly :) any advice guys?

FOTD: On the road

Today I had a very minimal amount of studying to do and so it was almost like a day off. I decided to spend it with a very old friend of mine, who has just had a baby. And oh my gosh, the little girl was the cuuuutest baby ever! I also visited my parents house, since it's basically next door to my friends.

And that was all I did today. How was your day?

#wellreadbook

Now there's a new tag for you. And me! I decided to start a series in which I shall tell you more about the books I have read. And not like every book that I've ever read, but the books that I have read recently. I'll start with a crime fiction novel, which I finished last weekend. Oh, and no spoilers here!

The novel is called The Cuckoo's calling and it's written by J.K.Rowling (under the pseudonym Robert Galbraith). I got the book as a birthday present from my mum last autumn. And yes, I'm afraid it took me about six months to read it.

The book was actually very entertaining. Not in a funny way but in the way that you can't put the book down. The reason why I read it for so long is that I had to read for a couple of exams aswell and usually I have to forget all other books while I'm doing that. I was so glad I finally had the time during Easter to finish this novel.

In the book you get the usual private investigator hired by a man, whose sister had fallen of a balcony. Supposedly a suicide, but the brother believes it was a murder. And so the investigator starts interviewing everybody close to the sister and gets deeper and deeper into her world. And I didn't guess what the conclusion was until I actually read it.

Crime fiction novels are a bit irritating to me, because basically I just keep guessing whose done what the whole time I'm reading the story. But once I dive into the world properly, I also have to finish the story.

If you like this sort of books, you should read this. And I think J.K. Rowling has done a great job here.

Ajattelin aloittaa uuden sarjan, jossa kerron kirjoista, joita olen lukenut.

Emptying my wardrobe

Today me and a friend of mine left some clothes for sale at our local fleemarket. I have never before sold anything at any fleemarket and usually I'm very bad at giving things away. Luckily, for once I was in the mood of emptying my wardrobe (mainly because it was just too full and nothing could fit in there anymore). All of the clothes are in very good condition, but I just haven't worn them for a very long time if ever.

Planning

Today I have been planning a very special holiday. That being our honeymoon! I'm so excited about it and can't wait to visit a totally new country.

We will be travelling to the States. First to New York and after some excting days there, we will travel on to Florida. We haven't planned the New York part at all. All we know is how long we'll stay there. So, do you have any recommendations on where to stay?

Florida, on the other hand, is quite well planned. There's going to be some Disney World, Key West, shopping and possibly a cruise included. Oh my gosh, I can't wait for our trip!

Have a lovely evening everybody!

Rose Gold Handbag

Until a couple of days ago, I was missing a propersized handbag. I thought I was looking for a black one, but then this beauty caught my eye.

Isn't it gorgeous? It's from Zara and it cost 29,90€. No bad for a bag that size. The only thing that worries me a bit, is that there's no zip or button to close the bag. But it does have a bag within a bag and the inside-bag has a zip!

This bag has just basically been living on my shoulder this week. What do you think of it?

21 questions -tag

Good morning everybody! I thought it would be a nice morning for my first ever tag-post. I hope you like it!

1. Are you named after anyone? Not that I know of. Like seriously. I've heard versions of being named after a perfume by Laura Ashley or by the book by Jane Austen.

2. When was the last time you cried? A couple of times during March. The beginning of the month was a bit difficult.

3. Do you have kids? No.

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself? Yes, I think so. Weird question.

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot? Haha, sometimes.

6. Will you ever bungee-jump?Hopefully not! :D I'm not too fond of heights.

7. What’s your favorite cereal? Muesli. With raisins. And other fruits.

8. What’s the first thing you notice about people? Hair.

9. What is your eye colour? Blue and green.

10. Scary movie or happy endings? I haven't watched scary movies in such a long time, I'm starting to doubt my ability to watch them. So happy endings definitely.

11. Favorite smells? Freshly cut grass, petrol, fresh air (especially in the springtime).

12. Summer or winter? Summer. <3

13. Computer or television? Computer. I hardly ever watch tv.

14. What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home? Thailand.

15. Do you have any special talents?I'm still quite flexible, although I stopped doing gymnastics 9 years ago.

16. Where were you born? Finland.

17. What are your hobbies? Gym and other sports, blogging and coaching little gymnasts.

18. Do you have any pets? Nooo! I'd love to have a bunny. :))

19. Favorite movie? I love musicals and Disney movies: Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Frozen...

20. Do you have any siblings? Yes, four younger ones.

21. What do you want to be when you grow up? I don't know! And that seems very funny, because I'm already studying. Before I would have thought that studying would solve the problem. And I did think I knew what I wanted when I started studying. But now I just don't know anymore!

And that is it. Today I'm going to work first (which is why I'm up this early) and then travel to my parents place with my fiancee for Easter.

I hope you have a great day!
