OOTD & FOTD: Natural face & flowery top

I went for a tiny shopping spree today. Well, actually I was only supposed to help my hubby-to-be to find new jeans for him. But as H&M had a 20% discount on all items I couldn't resist. I'll show you my new clothes, which scream summer, a bit later on. Here's what I wore today.

Lipstick: Loreal Color Riche - Blush Glow

Flowery top: New Look
Cardigan: Vero Moda

I can't believe how long my hair is getting! I don't think it's ever been this long and to be honest, I can't wait to get rid of it. Well, not all of it. But I'm planning on cutting a couple of inches off after the wedding.

Enjoy your weekend!

OOTD: Pastel time

Spring and pastels - can anybody think of a better combo? Not me at least. This time of the year you want to look lively and refreshed and I think these certain colours do exactly that.

I dug my very well loved checkered shirt out of my wardrobe the other day. I think I bought it a couple of years ago, but it still works so well! What do you think of it?

Checkered shirt: H&M
High waisted jeans: Primark

I think I might have missed the April favourites, but I promise promise promise to write a post about my May favourites. I'll get back to you with that very soon!
Have a lovely evening guys!

What's going on?

Wedding plans are happening. Big time. Since uni is done for this year, I have nothing else but to plan our special day. And work. And do a couple of late assignments. And coach.

Anyway, I am also finally enjoying some me-time. For me, that means e.g. running, going to fitness classes, reading novels and hopefully I'll be able to catch up with this blog as well at some point :)

A pretty view on my running route
I hope to get back to you soon. In the meantime, how has your spring been?

A Finnish Mayday

Finnish people celebrate the first of May and it is a public holiday. It has a carnival-sort-of-feeling to it and people celebrate it on the streets on May Day eve. It's also a major event for students. On the eve, students wear their overalls and on the actual day they also wear a student cap.

Overalls aren't actually the coolest thing ever. And especially our faculty's white overalls can get pretty interesting (and dirty!). But they are very easy to wear. You can basically just pic any shirt to wear with them.

I hope you had a great start of the month!
