A Finnish Mayday

Finnish people celebrate the first of May and it is a public holiday. It has a carnival-sort-of-feeling to it and people celebrate it on the streets on May Day eve. It's also a major event for students. On the eve, students wear their overalls and on the actual day they also wear a student cap.

Overalls aren't actually the coolest thing ever. And especially our faculty's white overalls can get pretty interesting (and dirty!). But they are very easy to wear. You can basically just pic any shirt to wear with them.

I hope you had a great start of the month!
