Champagne makeup tutorial

Happy Friday lovelies. Who's been shopping today? Black Friday isn't a huge thing here in Finland, infact I think this is the first year I've seen Black Friday sales anywhere. But there were some sales going on and I went to check them out at our local shopping center. I found a couple of Christmas presents for my little sisters and a dress for myself. And of course I found loads of things to add to my Christmas wishlist...

Onto today's post! It's time for another video and today I have a makeup tutorial for you, in which I use the eye shadow you can win in my giveaway! If you haven't entered the giveaway, you can do so HERE. The look I created is very nude but shimmery. I wouldn't wear this look during the warmer months, because my skin is slightly oily and shines enough by itself. But the cold weather does dry my skin a little bit and so adding some shimmer here and there is something I enjoy at the moment.

What do you think of my champagne look?

Have a fab weekend lovelies <3

  1. You're very lucky that Black Friday isn't a big thing in Finland. I think the idea of it here in the states is a huge oxymoron: we spend an entire day giving thanks for everything that we have, and then we go and trample other people for cheap electronics and clothes. I usually choose not to participated, it just isn't worth it to me.

I loved your tutorial. You're so easy to follow along with :)
And your hair is gorgeous! Do you have a tutorial of the way you style it? If not, I would love to see one!

    1. Now that you put it that way, it is a bit silly. We don't celebrate thanksgiving and people clearly weren't very informed about Black Friday either, so it wasn't an extreme event here.
Thank you <3 I don't have a tutorial for it, but I'd definitely love to do one! It's really quite simple :)
I hope you've had a lovely weekend lovely xxx

  2. Looks fresh and radiant, perfect for the dull weather outside.
Black Friday isn't a thing here in Germany too, but I cant say I miss it once I see what people do to each other in the US...

    1. Thanks Linda :) It is quite a cheery look, now that you mention it!
No, I wouldn't probably go anywhere near the shops on Black Friday if I lived in the US. Luckily there's the chance of online shopping though ;) xxx

  4. Black Friday never used to be a thing here in the UK, either. It only started a couple of years ago, I think? It makes no sense to me anyway, since we don't exactly celebrate Thanksgiving! x But, I was good this year, and didn't give in to any sales and online deals. :) That makeup is absolutely stunning and I love the shades you used to create it. It looks so natural, glowing and feminine. Your skin looks flawless! x x

    1. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving either. But I thought a day full of sales before Christmas is kind of cool. I've always thought I should just buy all the Christmas presents after Christmas for next year or something, because of the sales.
And thank you hon <3 I love to use a bit of shimmer during the colder months :)
      I hope you're having a fab weekend <3 xxx

  7. You're so beautiful and I love how you describe this look - it is somehow the perfect cosmetic equivalent to champagne! :) The lipstick is wonderfully feminine and you have amazing eyes girl!

  8. You look so gorgeous, and your eyes in the last picture are just amazing! I have a love hate relationship with Black Friday - I love that you know almost every retailer is on sale, but the idea of giving thanks and then going out and getting more is so odd to me.

    1. Hihi, thank you lovely! I totally agree with you and us not really having Thanksgiving over in this corner of the world made me just happy that things were on sale before Christmas. But as I said, it wasn't a huge event here, some shops had sales, some just ignored it and there weren't even that many people shopping!
I hope you've had a marvelous weekend xxx

Hope your weekend is going great!!

  14. You look absolutely stunning here! I love how fresh, frosted and glowy this makeup is. I feel like a lot of wintery makeup looks are super festive with chunky glitters and dramatic bright colors but this is so refreshing :)
Black Friday is such a hassle here in the states. I've worked retail for years at Anthropologie and always had to work Black Friday. It just brings out the worst in people and the crowds alone are enough to make me scream. I always shop online and I hide indoors hahah. Hope your weekend is going well! Also I'm so happy we found each other on Instagram!

    1. Gee, thanks Rachel. I'm anyways more of a nude girl, so it will take some time before you'll see bright colours on my eyes hehe. Lips are of course a totally different matter.
That's kind of sad that people actually go so crazy about it! I don't think I'd go into the crowds either if it were that big of a thing here.. I always shop in the mornings when nobody else has yet awoken or online :D
Have a lovely week dear. xxx

PS. Your Instagram account is amazing :)
