To do in November

Happy November peeps! It's another month and I can't believe there are only two months left of this year. I feel like I still want to do so many things before the year changes! Can somebody please stop the time for a bit?

Since nobody has invented a time turner yet and I haven't received a letter from Hogwarts, I guess the best thing to do at this point is to organize: take out a calendar and a to do -list and start planning ahead. Which is exactly what I intend to do right now.

1. Write thesis
This is a must. I want it as ready as possible before next January, so that when I go to London at the beginning of next year I can totally concentrate on Primark and Boots. Lol.

2. Revise German
I have an exam coming up at the end of this month. I've really enjoyed studying this language and want to get a fairly good grade. Compared to my major subject, which is educational science, you can't just go rambling on about things in a German exam, instead you really have know your grammar and vocabulary.

3. Celebrate my hubby's birthday
Birthday's are always exciting, don't you think? Receiving presents is fun alright but giving presents is just totally cool!

4. Do some serious Christmas shopping
The clever thing to do would be to start buying presents for everybody yesterday. The earlier the better. I acknowledge this every year, and yet I always find myself shopping for the last presents a day before Christmas together with thousands of other people.

5. Put up Christmas decorations
I usually put up my Christmas tree and lights when the lights on Oxford street are lit. But they did that pretty early this year it seems and I just noticed I'm already late. I need to fix another date for myself.

6. Get ready for London
Going away for a whole month means I need a place to stay, pack sensibly and just plan everything ahead. But I'm so excited about this that I don't think I really even need to remind myself to prepare for the journey. Whiiii!

What do you have planned for the rest of the year? And when do you start preparing for Christmas?
