Buying a pet rabbit

I'm so excited to introduce Myrtle the bunny (Myrtti in Finnish) to you! She is a 3 month old dwarf lop (I think you call them Holland lops in the US?). She's named after Moaning Myrtle from Harry Potter, who looks similar with the floppy ponytails. However, their personalities couldn't be any different.

Myrtle (the bunny) is quite cheery and a super social little fluffball. She's interested in everything with the exception of the hoover, which she ran away from the minute it was turned on as fast as she could and hid under our armchair. She follows me and Eero around in the flat, she loves to chase my feet when I'm exercising at home and in the mornings the first thing she does when we open the cage, is jump on our lap. Need I say more..she is the cutest EVER <3

We've had her now for four days and I think she's settled in very well. Today she discovered our sofa and either got too excited or just couldn't make it in time to her potty, but other than that she's a potty proof bunny.

I've been filming here and there for the past week, so here's a little (well, actually a huge and rambly) vlog for you. I hope you enjoy it! :)

Myrtle and I hope you all have a lovely weekend <3

P.S. I don't intend to turn this into a bunny blog, but as I consider myself more of a lifestyle/everything blogger, I will most probably be writing about Myrtle again! :)

    1. I'm sure they would! And I'm sure she'd love a friend to play with. We try but sometimes it goes all wrong and she kind of looks at us like "you have no idea how you play this game..." :D xxx

  11. I am seriously DYING! Myrtle is soo cute! And I think she is even CUTER now that I know she is named after moaning Myrtle ;) I've been wanting a bunny for ages, particularly a black and white Dutch Rabbit to look like my kitty's twin! We just don't have enough space though and I'm sure Carl (the cat) will be a weirdo and play too rough with it or something. I expect more pictures of this cuteness in the future! Congrats on your new baby!

  12. I found you because I was tagged from Kay's 50 Facts post and I saw that she tagged you too. Myrtle is so adorable! I've never had a bunny, but I do love the lop eared ones like this one. Myrtle is also a character from an American classic novel, "The Great Gatsby".

    1. Hey cool, I'll have to check out your blog too! Thanks for popping by :)) The lop ears are my fave too! I've seen the Great Gatsby film, but I didn't know it was based on a novel. Nor did I remember there was a character called Myrtle...I might have to read it now! xxx
