November favourites

Once again it is time to think about the past month and what I have been loving. I first have a few beauty products to show you and then I also have some random things I want to mention! Although it's not Friday, which is my "official" video day, I exceptionally wanted to also chat you through my fave things and post this post as close to the end of November as possible. I hope you enjoy my super rambly favourites video! Also, be sure to check at the very end of this post who won my Festive Season Giveaway!

The first product is a highlighter. If you read and watched my latest makeup tutorial you will know, that I have slightly oily skin and at most times highlighting isn't something I need, since my skin produces usually more than enough of natural shine, if I might say. But during the colder months everything gets dryer and I've been enjoying a bit of highlight on the top of my cheeks. My favourite highlighter is definitely Lightscapade by MAC. It's natural yet makes your cheeks pop. Plus I don't know if anybody else cares of these things, but the product is really pretty to look at too :D

My second love of the month are lip liners in general. I never used to use them before, but oh my goodness, lips look so much better when they're lined. And it's also so much easier to apply lipstick. I can't believe I haven't used them before. And that I only own two! I have the Max Factor Lipfinity in Pink Petal and Lumene Lip liner in Cherry Tree. I'm definitely in need of a good basic red lip liner. Any suggestions?

One product, that is absolutely perfect for this time of the year is the Naked Smoky palette by Urban Decay. And although you must be thinking why I'm mentioning this product AGAIN,  I'm going to. I won't go on about it too much since you can read my thoughts about it HERE and see my tutorial HERE. But oh my gosh, I think I fall in love with it more and more everyday.

My final fave makeup product this month is the Archery brow pencil by Soap&Glory. I've been wanting this product ever since I first heard of it and so my heart kind of skipped a beat when I saw my Dad had actually gone makeup shopping on his trip to London and found the right product! I have the coolest Dad in the world :D Anyway, the product is amazing and I've been wearing it ever since I got it. I have it in the shade hot chocolate, which is slightly darker than what I'm used to yet oh so perfect!

I have a few random fave things to ramble about too. The first two are films: The new James Bond, Spectre and Mockingjay part 2. Both were very anxiously anticipated and both exceeded expectations. I liked them a lot. I've actually enjoyed all the Hunger Games movies, so to enjoy the final part came as no surprise. But Spectre was a totally different matter. I've always watched the Bond movies but haven't found them anywhere near special. This one though, I actually liked a lot! Except for the disgusting needle scene. But the plot was really good and I also liked the music so much I had to listen to the soundtrack afterwards.

The next random fave is a TV series I absolutely totally fell in love with. Downton Abbey. I don't think I've ever watched a series as enthusiastically as this one. Not at least after Thomas the Tank Engine, Babar and the Powerpuff Girls. I could seriously watch Downton Abbey all day long (#truestory lol). I think the actors are amazing and especially Maggie Smith (or Professor McGonagall as you might know her) makes me laugh.

Finally I have an album to recommend. I've been listening To Ellie Goulding's Delirium non-stop since it popped up on my Spotify recommendations. I absolutely love it! Aftertaste and Codes are my favourite songs along with of course the ever so lovely Love Me Like You Do. Ellies voice is just something really magical. If you haven't checked her album yet, I suggest you do so right now! :)

Now finally for the Giveaway. Thank you to everybody who entered <3 Your comments always put a smile on my face! The winner was picked randomly by rafflecopter. Aaaaand the winner is Nadia! Yipee! Congratulations babe! I hope you enjoy the little festive products <3

How was your November?

  2. Woah, that highlighter is totally gorgeous. I absolutely love highlighters! I myself I skin that's sort of on the dry side, so highlighters help me get that I-look-like-my-face-is-sweating-but-not-really-because-that's-gross.

    1. Haha, the only thing I dislike about Christmas is the lack of light! Argh :D Then again, fairy lights look pretty in the dark....hmm.
Archery is turning out to bee very very amazing. Definitely recommend it! I've never felt as confident about my brows as I do now :)
Mockingjay was also really nice. To be honest, my hubby wasn't so interested in it ( did agree to come see it with me though lol) but I loved it!
