Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment

Who else loves taking their makeup off after a long day? Because I just absolutely love it. Although putting makeup on is something that I love doing in the morning and use a ridiculous amount of time doing so, taking it off in the evening feels like having a picnic in a lovely park: it basically makes me happy. I've been putting a lot of effort into my skincare routine lately and I think my skin is starting to thank me. I'd love to show you the whole routine at some point but before I do so, let me tell you a couple of things about my fave part of the whole routine: eye cream! I honestly love this product very very much!
I've been on search for the perfect eye cream for some time. I know it's sometimes considered as an anti-aging product, but none of us are getting younger anytime soon (unless we secretly live in Storybrooke and we're still waiting for the Saviour to come and return our memories. Yes, I've been watching a little too much of Once Upon a Time lately. Who do you think you'd be if you were a character? :D), so I think an eye cream is something we should all own. And as they say, the eyes are the first to age.

Many eye creams I've tried just haven't been enough for me. They might be soothing and calming and all that but they never seemed to work very well. Usually the surroundings of my eyes would feel dry in the morning no matter how much product I applied in the evening. So I wanted something super-hydrating. After a very long search session on Google, I decided to give the Kiehl's Creamy Eye treatment a go.

And I absolutely love it! Applying it in the evening is definitely my favourite part of my routine. It instantly feels so calming and soft and in the morning I wake up with bright eyes. It's so amazing! The product contains avocado oil which is used in cosmetics for its high skin penetration and rapid absorption. If you've ever eaten an avocado, you'll know the formula is super soft, I think it even tastes soft! And it definitely feels soft on the eyes.

I apply a thin layer of the product every morning and every evening after everything else is done skincarewise. Once or twice a week I also love to add a thicker layer of it to kind of create an eye mask. I've definitely been feeling a difference after I've started using the eye treatment and although the price is quite high (25€ or £20) I think it's worth every penny.

Have you tried the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment?
What do you think of other Kiehl's products?
Do you use an eye cream and what's your fave?

Have a lovely week everybody! <3

  2. I haven't tried that one, but as I am still on the hunt for the perfect eye cream, I might give it a go as it sounds lovely. Oh, and I haven't watched Once upon a time, so I have no idea which character I would be.

    1. You should try it. It's rather pricy but I'm sure they give samples at the Kiehl's counters :) Let me know if you do try it! :) xxx

  3. That sounds like an amazing product! I will definitely look into it. Unfortunately, I lost my Murad Eye cream (thank goodness it was just a sample so I didn't really lose out on the money), and I have been wanting to get the Origins Ginzing Eye Cream, but the Kiehls one sounds lovely. I have horrible puffy eyes and lines that I need to get rid of!

    1. Oooh, I have a puffy eye problem myself too. And the little lines are so annoying, aren't they? I'm not sure if this helps with the puffiness, but with the lines...this is soooooo good! Definitely the best I've tried. Origins seem to be like an amazing brand too, I'm sure they have good products too :) xxx

  5. I have had this cream on my wishlist for so long! This cream sounds dreamy, I'm sure my eye area would love it :) Whenever I pass by Kiehl's store, I skip entering the store then regret not doing it! Once the payday comes, I should finally get it :) I still haven't find an eyecream that I would call my favourite, I'm still searching for it!
Have an amazing week, lovely! <3 xx

  7. I've actually never used this eye cream before, but I heard some fab things about it and I' love to try it! Like yourself, I love the feeling of taking my makeup off after a long day... Something about it feels so... Liberating, lol. :D x x Although my skin is nowhere near as flawless as yours, so what I see after removing my makeup isn't exactly a nice view, lol! I'd love to see your full skincare routine, and I hope you can share it with us soon, darling! <3 Hope you're well, kisses. x

    1. Liberating is such a good word for it! :D just like taking our bra off when you get home haha :D And I think that's just the point deary, it doesn't matter what you look like when you get home and remove your makeup (and bra :DD), you're home and you can basically wear and do whatever you want, despite in what condition your skin is or how you look in a lousy t-shirt. That's why home is DA place to be <3
Thank you for your lovely comment my dear Kay <3 Love ya! xxx

  10. The moment I saw you saying you love a product on Insta, I knew right away it would be the best product! Your opinion is one of those I trust without a shadow of a doubt, my lovely. I have tried so many eye creams! Some did OK, some good and some just didn't do anything. So this is a major find for me. It's like you knew what I needed lol :D
Love ya, girlie. Fab review, darling!

  12. I love Kiehls. I'm currently using their Midnight Recovery eye cream but I've been eyeing this one up as I've heard a lot of people rave about it. The Midnight Recovery oil is also one of my faves, I feel like Kiehls never disappoint.
